Your API, safely callable by an agent
Multi-tenant, spec-driven API gateway & MCP integration suite
Point API Explorer at a spec and get a governed gateway plus a matching MCP tool set. Tool descriptions stay in sync with the spec, and scopes decide what each agent may call.

Why API Explorer
A multi-tenant, spec-driven API Gateway that converts OpenAPI definitions into dynamic routing, runtime APIs, and MCP tools for LLM integration, supporting HTTP, gRPC, WebSocket, MCP, and SSE protocols with built-in authentication and observability.
Spec-driven
Your OpenAPI file generates both the governed gateway and the matching MCP tool set, so tool descriptions cannot drift from the API.
Scoped access
Per-agent scopes decide which operation an agent may call, enforced at the gateway rather than trusted to the prompt.
Guarded by default
Request validation, rate limits, and per-invocation logs of arguments and results apply to every generated route.
How API Explorer empowers your team
6 capabilities, and what each one actually does once real traffic is flowing through it. Pick one to see it in the interface.
MCP tool generation
Every operation becomes a typed tool with a description drawn from your spec.
Per-agent scopes
Decide exactly which operations an agent may call, down to the individual path.
Request validation
Payloads are checked against the schema before they reach your service.
Rate limits and quotas
Protect downstream services from a runaway agent loop with per-key limits.
Call logging
Arguments, results, and latency recorded for every invocation.
Spec-synced docs
Update the spec and the tools, docs, and validation update with it.
Teams already running API Explorer
What changed for them after the switch - in their words, not ours.
We exposed our internal orders API to agents in a morning, and the scope model meant security signed off the same day.
Cut our Claude bill 68% the first week. Smart routing + prompt caching just works.
Brainstorm mode unlocked 3x faster ideation across our research team. It feels like extra teammates.
Walkthrough

Scopes are enforced at the gateway, not in the prompt. A tool an agent lacks scope for is not offered and cannot be called.

Questions, answered
Still unsure whether API Explorer fits your stack? Talk to an engineer - no sales script.
Contact engineeringWhich spec versions are supported?
OpenAPI 3.0 and 3.1. Swagger 2.0 specs are converted on import.
Do I still need my existing API gateway?
Not usually. It handles auth, validation, and rate limiting, but it can also sit behind an existing gateway if you prefer.
How are breaking spec changes handled?
Tools are versioned. A breaking change publishes a new tool version while the old one keeps working until you retire it.
Can agents call it without MCP?
Yes. Every operation is also available over plain HTTP with the same scopes and logging.
